Chinatown Connections Public Workshop on June 10th

Chinatown Connections will redesign the gateway to Manhattan’s Chinatown into a safe and vibrant space that celebrates the neighborhood’s Chinese heritage, improves multimodal circulation into and around Chinatown, and supports local businesses.

Stop by anytime for the Chinatown Connections public workshop. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the project and provide feedback as it takes shape!

Candidate Forum City Council District 1

CMP is gladly supporting and co-sponsoring the APA Voice 2023 Candidate Forum City Council District 1, which will be taking place on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Educational Alliance's Manny Cantor Center (197 E Broadway, New York, NY 10002).

This will be an in-person event. Simultaneous translation in Cantonese and Mandarin will be provided for the audience.

Early Voting Has Started!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, but early voting has started! Every NYC voter can vote early in person from now through November 6. Early voting allows more flexibility and reduces wait times on Election Day.

You can decide who will represent you in state and federal government. Make your voice heard! Find your assigned early voting site: findmypollsite.vote.nyc.

Asian American Community Mayoral Candidates Forum

CMP is excited to join the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF) and 34 other Asian American community based organizations to host the Asian American Community Mayoral Candidates Forum on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 5:15 PM.

 The forum will be simultaneously interpreted into Bengali, Cantonese, Korean, and Mandarin. A recording of the forum will be released in additional Asian languages following the event.   

Sandra Choi from MinKwon Center / APA VOICE will be presenting on Rank Choice Voting. Award-winning journalist and PIX 11 reporter Shirley Chan will moderate.
