For the second year in a row we have partnered with Comcast NBC Universal to bring a day of practicing English skills, interview preparation and the networking tips to our students and participants on April 19th, 2018. 2018 Flushing Job Fair
On April 11th, 2018, partnering with UnitedHealthcare, TD Bank and Con Edison, we hosted our annual Flushing Job Fair. We had a record breaking 15 employers with over 300 job seekers attending. It was a great opportunity to bridge communications between job seekers and recruiters.
Resume Writing Workshop in Korean
This past Monday, March 26th, our Mobile JOBS Team provided a Resume and Workplace Culture in the U.S. workshop at Korean American Family Service Center - KAFSC to a group of nine Korean-American women who are recent immigrants to the U.S. and have never written a resume before!
Partnership with Allure Group
Yesterday January 30th, CMP and Allure Group together announced our partnership at the press conference at one of Allure Group's facility --- Hamilton Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where our CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) program graduates had just finished their internship. It was a wonderful opportunity for our program participants to get hands-on training at the center, supplementing them with real-life working experiences.
The Allure group will also provide more comprehensive services and job opportunities within their 6 locations for our students and the community we serve.
