Career Advancement Program
Our Career Advancement Program participants had such an engaging and fruitful day on the past Saturday, Nov. 9th!
Participants, that are looking to enter Corporate America or want to advance their careers in Corporate America, have received lots of valuable career advice and guidance from our corporate volunteer speakers and coaches in self-discovery and assessment, building their own brand, improving soft skills, job discovery and advancement, and tips of improving networking skills. We are glad they have found that the program was very inspiring and even exceeded their expectations.
We would like to give our sincere thanks to our volunteers who were so generous to have spent their Saturday with us and shared their professional experience and advice with our participants. THANK YOU ALL for helping our community members advance their careers!

Market Line Hiring Event
LESEN will be hosting a public hiring event for The Market Line vendors this Friday, Oct. 25th, at the lower level of Essex Market with 25+ Part-Time and Full-Time Positions (7+ Businesses).
Pre-screened members will be granted early access to the event at 10:30am to interview with vendors. They do not have to register with EventBrite (QR Code).
Public referrals will be let in at 11am and must register with EventBrite (QR Code). If you are unable to register through the code, this is the website: https://themarketlinehiringevent.eventbrite.com. You can also go through the public process so that you can pre-screened at the event.

Columbus Day Closure Notice
In observance of Columbus Day, CMP will be closed from 1 PM, Friday, 10/11 through Monday, 10/14, and will re-open on Tuesday, 10/15.
New CNA Cycle Started!
Our new cycle of Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program just started this past weekend!
In addition to basic nursing and personal care skills, safety and emergency care procedures, clinical skills for working in medical center and healthcare facilities, our students will also be getting work readiness training, including resume writing and interview skills during the program. They are on their way to become Certified Nurse Aides!

CMP 2019 Manhattan Job Fair will be held on Thursday, Sep. 26th, at 10 am - 3 pm, at CCBA (62 Mott Street, New York, NY 10013).
