Meet CMP Every 3rd Tuesday at Brooklyn Sunset Park!

Starting in January 2025, CMP will be at VNS Health’s Sunset Park location (5521 8th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11220) every third Tuesday of the month, offering the latest updates on our programs, news, and services.

On-site mock interviews, resume revisions, and small business counseling will be available based on the monthly staffing schedule.

Dates include March 18, April 15, and May 20, etc. Check out our calendar for updates!

“Love and Cultivate: Building a New Home Together” Immigrant Fair on October 3

Join us for the “Love and Cultivate: Building a New Home Together” Immigrant Fair! This collaborative event, supported by government agencies, civic organizations, and private sector partners, aims to empower new immigrants in New York. And CMP is proud to be one of them!

The Immigrant Fair will also provide the following free services:

  • Individual legal consultation

  • Application for IDNYC Card

  • Various benefits and resources of the city government

  • And More!

CMP BOC Joined the NYC Small Business Month Expo

On May 29th, NYC Small Business Services hosted its first-ever NYC Small Business Month Expo to address the needs of small business owners. CMP Business Outreach Center (BOC) was excited to participate, offering face-to-face Q&A sessions and sharing information about our CMP classes and programs.

The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect directly with entrepreneurs, providing personalized guidance and showcasing the resources we offer to help small businesses thrive. We were inspired by the passion and dedication of the attendees and are committed to supporting people. Thank you for having us!

Community Outreach Efforts

On May 15th, CMP participated in a Job and Resource Fair. Hosted by University Settlement at 184 Eldridge St. 2nd floor, New York, NY 10002. Along with 12 other community partners, we provided one-on-one and small-group assistance to 100-plus job seekers. It was a fantastic opportunity to share available positions, training, classes, and workshops that CMP offers regularly and planned for the coming months.  We spent much-needed time answering questions and developing relationships with job seekers and our community partners.
